User Comments about Labetalol Hydrochloride
23 Apr 2014 I have been on labetalol for about 7weeks now and it is terrible for me. Makes my heart rate drop, my chest hurts, have a weird sensation in my throat, muscle weakness in my neck and shoulders, I have had terrible anxiety and panic attacks, my head tingles, I cannot sleep at night, give me headaches. While it keeps my no down these side effects are driving me crazy.

24 Jun 2011 I truly wish to decrease my dosage, if not eliminate completely, labetalol. My high blood pressor has dropped as low as 116/66 and I wanted to stop taking labetalol all together, but was advised I have to continue and not stop labetalol suddenly. Told med is very hard to get off of and difficult to wean off of to. Please, please ... someone, anyone, please share how to get off this med?! Sincerely thank you.

14 Oct 2009 I took Atenolol for years to treat cogenital chronic tachycardia (basically, my heart beats too fast). When I got pregnant, I was switched to Labetalol. Virtually no side-effects, which was a definate improvement over Atenolol. I have been taking it for 7 years now, and am quite pleased with it.
