Chronic Fatigue Syndrome treatment

Description
An illness defined by an exhausting, long-term fatigue, CFS has many nonspecific symptoms such as headaches, recurring sore throats, and both muscle and joint pain. Fatigue, along with these other various symptoms, must last for more than six months in order for a patient to be diagnosed with CFS due to many diseases and illnesses that are similar in how they are expressed.
Causes
There are no known causes for CFS; it is believed that the following factors can affect your chances of getting the disorder: genetic factors, brain abnormalities, hyper-reactive (weak) immune systems, viral or other infectious agents, and psychiatric conditions as well as emotional conditions.
Prevention
Eliminate stress, attend to small illnesses, avoid prolonged exposure to chemical agents and contaminants, abstain from coffee, tobacco, and alcohol, have moderation in eating, sleeping, working, and exercising.
Common Symptoms
Problems with memory and concentration; issues with falling/ staying asleep; continuous muscle pain, joint pain; headaches; sensitive lymph nodes; increased sickness and/or fatigue after regular bodily exertion; and a sore throat are the most common symptoms used to diagnose CFS.
Rare Symptoms
More serious symptoms in patients with CFS include: irritable bowel, depression or psychological problems such as irritability, mood swings, anxiety, panic attacks, chills and night sweats, visual disturbances such as blurring, sensitivity to light, and eye pain; allergies or sensitivities to foods, odors, chemicals, medications, r noise; brain fog; difficulty maintaining upright position, dizzine View more...
