Wolff Parkinson White Syndrome (WPW) treatment

Description
WPW is condition in which the conductive pathway of the heart is mutated causing signals to bypass the AV node and prematurely stimulate a section of the heart or ventical.
Causes
WPW is a result of a genetic mutation.
Prevention
WPW is a genetic mutation so there is not prevention method or treatment.
Common Symptoms
Most symptoms are all similar and include, Tachycardia, dizzyness, irregular heart beat, palpitations, fainting, and fluttering feeling in chest.
Rare Symptoms
In rare cases the tachacyrdia can raise and cause a Myocardial Infarction (heart attack), or complete heart failure and even sudden death.
Traditional Treatment
Medication for WPW include Beta Blockers, and either Digoxin or Verampamil. Surgical Options include: Cardiac Ablation, Cardioversion, and in rare cases open heart surgery.
Alternative Treatment
Avoid stress and caffine or other stimulants, Vagal nerve stimulation, and careful monitoring of electrolytes.

Research and Development
WPW has a surgical cure and there is no current research or experimental treatments other than futher study that beta blockers work better than expected.
