15 Feb 2010	alavert kicked in really quicly and i was able to be focused during the workday. 13 Jul 2009	This was my first time taking the medication and I'm not sure if I was just extremely miserable or the medication took a long to work. I felt extremely congested and had series of sneezing attacks for the first 12 hours (or so) but after that it appeared to be working. I was also anxious because this medication can only be taken once in a 24 hour period...which meant that I couldn't take anything else until the next day.
