Jim Carrey
Jim Carrey (1962-), Canadian-American actor and stand-up comedian. Known for his characters on ‘In Living Color,’ ‘Ace Ventura: Pet Detective,’ ‘The Mask,’ ‘Dumb and Dumber,’ and several other blockbusters, Carrey is a well-known funnyman. However, he is also self-proclaimed to be a “weird, serious person.”

Carrey has been battling depression since childhood. He took Prozac for awhile and said that it was good for “dealing with the problem there and then, [but it] wasn’t getting to the bottom of [the] anger and frustration.” Of medications that numb pain, the 46-year-old comedian said, "I think we have a real problem these days in that everything is treated with a drug. I think there's a whole new way of healing depression that doesn't require drugs…"
