I was 17 weeks pregnant when I had a shingles outbreak. This was my second instance of a shingles outbreak, but first time using Valtrex. After being made hypothyroid due to RAI treatment, I still feel that levothyroxine can do a better job of affecting the emotional and psychological side of treatment, too. At this time I feel that it doesn't work well with all areas of hypothyroidism's effects.
