after 3 A1c tests that were getting worse and taking more and more Lantus, I quit it totally because when I upped the dose my blood pressure went up as well. I had pain in both hands having gained 15 pounds as well. After one week of quitting, my weight went down 8 pounds and I no longer have pain in my hands. I will never take that stuff again. My sugars have been down significantly, staying between 90 and 100 in the mornings without it....

This medication was prescribed to help with my fibromyalgia. Taking this medication has slowly deteriorated my quality of life. It no longer helped with the pain so I discussed it with my physician and it was decided that I could come off this meedication. The "withdrawal" is the most difficult thing I have ever been through. I believe I have recently acquired allergies, because I have been sneezing more than ever and getting teary eyes very often. After taking just one pill of Aller-Clear (loratadine), my symptoms went away within an hour and I was allergy-free the whole day. I love that I can take it in the morning and be carefree about allergies for the rest of the day. It works quick and is easy to take.
