Herplex was the best. I get cold sores when under stress or with a fever. If I felt the tingle and took a couple for a day or two they would dry up immediately. Why oh why did they take it off the market.

I was also put on an anti depressant because my doctor thought i was depressed because I broke down crying in his office when he asked me how i was feeling, whether i was having suicidal thoughts or not. This seems to be the most effective drug for depression/anxiety that I have been given. I have been on quite a few. It doesnt seem to have any side effects, which was great. The only problem I have is when I dont take it. There have been times when I was due for a refill and had to wait until payday or for the pharmacy to open on Monday. I was unable to finish the full regiment of Lamisil because my doctor had been monitoring my white blood cell count monthly and I experienced a substantial drop in white blood cell count after taking the medication. Even though I was forced to stop taking the medication I still saw results from the limited time I took the medication. And once given enough time for my toe nails to grow out I had greatly reduced the fungal infections on multiple toes.
