I have had no side effects from the drug, and would not even notice that I am taking it except for the fact that my thyroid levels have improved since beginning the regimen.

You should try taking a non-drowsy allergy medication during the day, such as Claritin, Zyrtec or Allegra. Save the Benadryl for the night time, before you got to bed. You could also try a decongestant that contains pseudoephedrine...it works by constricting the inflamed blood vessels in your nasal passages that is causing the congestion. Good luck.

The cure is FAR worse than the disease. Pylera made me extremely depressed and just feeling bad overall. After I thought I made it through I chilled for a week, broke out with fever blisters and blisters on the tongue and spots on my fingers. Off of it two weeks now and still feel depressed and generally bad. Called the Dr.'s office and a staff said oh it can't be the medication see your regular physician and when I go there they say probably a side effect of the Pylera. SO WHICH IS IT!!... This medication I havent taken it for long but it hasnt given me any bad side effects or anything, I think it takes long for it to completely get rid of my folliculitis since I havent seen any huge differences but it has become better. Since its a cream it might wear off a lot on the clothes and not have a big effect.
