I have suffered from migraine's and daily headaches for the last 30 years and am currently seeing a specialist who has come to the end of their recommendations. I was prescribed this for a recent injury. I find myself enjoying them far more than I probably should. The fear of addiction is overwhelming. I have tried to take them only when I feel I absolutely have to.

Lyrica is ok for treating anxiety conditions like GAD. It works well but the confusion/dizziness at dosage above 300mg per day can be a problem. It does not have many gastrointestinal side effects but I find that it irritates a long term gastritis problem of mine. Lyrica is a good alternative for those who cant tolerate conventional antidepressants or those who would like to avoid the use of benzodiazipines. I am not a moody or depressed person, but since taking this specific birth control I have been having the worst mood swings ranging from being being easily irritated to sad/depressed for no known reason. I quit Lipitor almost 3 years ago. I was very close to not being able to work and had already had to give up all social contacts, was afraid to drive anymore and less than a year away from being on disability and not know WHY!
