Initially, Wellbutrin XL definitely helped me to get through my husband's one-year navy deployment, with me having to work part-time, continue working on my Master's degree, and care for my 7 and 9 year olds alone. That was 4 1/2 years ago and I am still on Wellbutrin XL. At this time, I would say my mild depression and anxiety, plus mood swings and lack of patience, are creeping back. I take two Advil PM and then the heartburn starts like it is stuck in my throat. I get restless and the pain does not go away. I toss and turn until I am so tired that I finally go to sleep.

I don' tthink that medication works for me. The way they advertise it on TV, you think it is going to work so well and have effects, but for me, nothing at all. I do not like medications anyways.

I was taking Darvocet as a substitute for Vicodin because I was having too much Delirium and Nausea with Vicodin. I have a high tolerance to pain killers and when I was taking Darvocet it had no noticeable effect on the pain. I eventually stopped taking the pills because the small amount of pain relief I received was not worth the nausea and delirium I was getting from the drug.
