Starting on day 1, had bad metallic taste in mouth, nausea, and chest discomfort-indigestion all day long. Started taking probiotic on day 3, also began taking pills with a half-glass of milk instead of water, and sipping on gingerale/ nibbling saltine crackers during the day - symptoms much milder now except the metallic taste is still strong. Am just finishing day 5.

Started taking this primarily because migraines were out of control (2+/week lasting 1-3 days) and their intensity seemed to covary with night sweat severity. Gynecologist agreed that migraines might be due to low estrogen. Within 3 weeks--Stopped 90% of the migraines and reduced the intensity of those that remained. Night sweats stopped completely. Unexpected benefits were much better sleep and moderately improved mental clarity.

i have been on ortho tri cyclen for about a year and a half now...i was put on it because of its low hormones. other pills were making me feel sick because of the amount of hormones in them. ever since ive been on ortho tri cyclen, i develop yeast infections every 2-3 months. i am in and out of the gynocologist atleast 5 times a year for yeast infections. they are also hard to treat...OTC creams and diflucan prescriptions wont fully clear them. ortho tri cyclen is also ruining my sex life! i... I suffer from Fibromyalgia and a variety of chronic joint and muscle pain. I cannot take anti-inflamatories because I take Coumadin (blood thinner). I was prescribed Percocet after major shoulder surgery and found it was the 'best' pain releif I'd ever gotten for my whole body. I am on a relatively low-dose for chronic pain and yes, I know this is physically addictive. However, quality of life is addictive as well!!!! I've been on Klonopin since the end of April. My doctors figured out the problem I was having wasnt anxiety so they are taking me off the Klonopin. I am having hot flashes, very irritable, and am having mild anxiety. It works for anxiety but it makes me really tired. Its hard to stay awake all day without taking a nap.
