I have fibromyalgia and was very hopeful while taking this medicaiton but to tell you the truth my life was a living hell. I found myself in a deep dark place I had never been before, I think if it wasn't for my faith I don't know what this medication would have caused me to do. I have been taking Carbimazole medicationf or 5 months now. I find it very expensive and beginning to think the Radioactive iodine therapy is my next step. Is it not easier to treat the hypothyroidism than hyperthyroidism?? I have been battling extreme itchy feet and hands - mostly later in the day.

It does nothing! Pure placebo! Maybe that's why it was not approved in USA and Canada?I do use Klonopin and have used Xanax, those work great.I prefer Klonopin.

I take Klonopin to help with severe insomnia brought on by PTSD. I have taken it for days or for weeks in a row and then gone off of it for days or weeks. It seems to not have any withdrawal effects on me but it does effectivley help with the insomnia and occasional anxiey when I do take it. You sort of also have to know your body's reactions to chemicals and, also prepare your mind to accept the maximum positive effects of any medication entering your system.
