Switched to Quasense after having been on Yaz for three years. Never experienced any side effects with Yaz, but I was concerned with the increase in price under new insurance and my GYN was concerned with the recent lawsuits. The first day taking Quasense resulted in severe cramping, feeling constantly on the verge of vomiting, and intense body chills. This lasted for almost two days straight. Needless to say, I called my GYN after some research and will no longer be taking this awful drug.

Changing to this synthetic analogue, described to me as "the greatest thing for Type 1 diabetics" by my diabetic team was a decision I now deeply regret. The side effects were extremely debilitating - extreme fatigue, memory loss, joint & muscle pain, feeling as if I was in a foggy toxic state all the time despite good HBA1c results. Since starting on this drug last year, my "attacks" have reduced tremendously and I'm able to work with confidence now. However, my biggest problem with Betahistine is that I have been experiencing severe muscle cramps recently which at times can be very painful. I have also lost some weight and I try to eat more to compensate! Is their any way one can ensure that he/she maintains her/his weight when on this drug? My sexual appetite has also gone down. Any comments?

AcipHex does not work at all. My acid reflux is not better when I take it. I had to switch to a different medication because it did not help my acid reflux.
