I have had no side effects from the drug, and would not even notice that I am taking it except for the fact that my thyroid levels have improved since beginning the regimen.

Over the few months that I took Cymbalta it slowly got rid of the clinical depression. I am male and I had increasing hot flashes several times a day at the end when I stopped taking it. I haven't had any problems since while being off the medication. I had no problems stopping the medication.

Has anyone tried going off this nasty drug? I am on day two of weaning down from 300 mgs to 200 mgs daily of Lyrica. Next week I am supposed to go down to just 100 mgs....and the following week should be down to none. My problem is this: I am feeling anxious, easily irritated, have irrational thoughts, and have been driving my poor husband nuts with fits of tears every other hour. THE BEST PILL EVER, IT HAS CHANGED MY LIFE COMPLETELY FOR THE BETTER. I AM FREE TO BE NORMAL. Benadryl is a very fast-acting medication and is 100% effective in my case. However, within a half an hour, I am knocked out as a result of the drowsiness effect. I usually sleep for long hours after taking the medication and feel groggy and lazy once waking up. Although my allergies are cleared up, I don't like sleeping the rest of the day or the feeling I get after waking up.

Strong raspberry leaf infusions are the ONLY thing that has ever relieved my menstrual cramps and accompanying symptoms, such as nausea and diarrhea. Pharmaceuticals have never helped my cramps. I also use raspberry leaves and berries infused in apple cider vinegar during my menstrual cycle as the vinegar extracts a great deal of nutrients in the leaves (calcium, magnesium etc) that help with cramps and pms, as well as the high iron in the berries.
