I was 17 when I had my 3 Gardasil shots and 17 when I was diagnosed with RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS following the shots. It took a year for doctors to realize I had RA because I was a competitive athlete (they thought my joints were swollen because I have always been an athlete). i had a very bad allergic reaction to something that was supposed to help with my allergies in the first place.. it aslo had a poor smell and taste.

Benadryl is a very fast-acting medication and is 100% effective in my case. However, within a half an hour, I am knocked out as a result of the drowsiness effect. I usually sleep for long hours after taking the medication and feel groggy and lazy once waking up. Although my allergies are cleared up, I don't like sleeping the rest of the day or the feeling I get after waking up.

I have been using nuvaring over 4 months now. Have experienced no problems. I feel that a lot of complaints from other users is from incorrect use and from unhealthy individuals trying to use a hormonal method. I think that if you are healthy (not overweight, excercise regularly, etc.) before use than you will have less side effects.
