Although it has some bad side effects, I feel more normal when I take it. I used to be a very outgoing motivated person when I was younger and over the years suffered from severe post traumatic stress and bipolar disorder. Adderall gives me my energy and confidence back. My doctor took me off Adderall about 2 months ago and I have been a wreck ever since.

I was prescribed this drug for Fibromyalgia pain. Yes, you feel less pain because you're High as a Kite! At first my husband thought it was funny that I spent my time giggling and walking into things. Obviously not good. This was on a very low dose of 50 mg / 2 x daily. I am very sensitive to this drug and it caused too many problems including memory, confusion, feeling dizzy and/or "high" plus my husband said there was a change in my personality - obviously not a good one.... During the first week I took half a dose and experienced a pretty strong distaste to all foods. Even when I was hungry, the sight and smell of food made me feel sick. This went away during the second week. My only other side effect is that I don't sleep as much as I used to. Also, it tends to wear off suddenly between doses. Prozac is very effective on the condition known as depression no matter how extensive the depression is. However, eventually over time no dosage can create the calming effects that it did before, and you have to find a new anti depressant.
