I take lasix because of water retentino. I have to take it with potassium. It works very well, and I urinate alot. It took water off my swollen leg. But if you take it too much, you can have kidney faliure.

I stopped taking this after the first injection(administered at Dr office) 5 hrs after injection, I developed sysytems of spinal menigitis. Severe fever, vertigo and was unable to lift my head or move without severe pain, dizziness and vomitting for 3 DAYS. I was told, flu like symptoms would occur, symtomps were beyond this. This product WAS NOT TESTED SUFFICIENTLY and I would not recommend for long term use, until further studies have been performed. I continue to have chronic pain in my ne... View full comment

It needs to be addressed that this drug can help you and hurt you all at the same time...god forbid you try to get off this drug...its extremely hard...I never ever had cravings to drink..and this stuff made me want to drink like you'd want a chocolate bar or coffee and you know I had to give in..now i'm fighting coming off this drug and the desire for alcohol...neither of which are fun...I have been sober for 6 weeks now...and I can only imagine what this drug has done to my already damaged... I take ibuprofen quite frequently. It is really effective on my daily aches and headaches from my job. A couple of pills work quickly but I have to take them often. They seem to wear off quickly, so it's usually ever 4 hours that I need to take more to completely get rid of my aches.
