I have been on cymbolta for years. I am tired of gaining weight and not being able to get rid of it. (no matter what I do) my friend told me her meds. made her metabolism slow down Cymbalta doesn't have a side effect of weight gain but I wondered since i have been on C for so long maybe it is effecting me. Retin A completely dried out my skin to the point where I didn't even want to use it. The skin around my eyes was dry and red and it hurt to even blink. I was only prescribed to use it every other day and i could only use it two or three times a week because my face would hurt so bad. I got red, peeling, and the dry skin. Nothing helped. I stayed on it to see if anything would get better (since i was told it would go from worse to better) and nothing happened. I wasn't happy with this.
