Benadryl is a very fast-acting medication and is 100% effective in my case. However, within a half an hour, I am knocked out as a result of the drowsiness effect. I usually sleep for long hours after taking the medication and feel groggy and lazy once waking up. Although my allergies are cleared up, I don't like sleeping the rest of the day or the feeling I get after waking up.

I have fibromyalgia and was very hopeful while taking this medicaiton but to tell you the truth my life was a living hell. I found myself in a deep dark place I had never been before, I think if it wasn't for my faith I don't know what this medication would have caused me to do. i have been on ortho tri cyclen for about a year and a half now...i was put on it because of its low hormones. other pills were making me feel sick because of the amount of hormones in them. ever since ive been on ortho tri cyclen, i develop yeast infections every 2-3 months. i am in and out of the gynocologist atleast 5 times a year for yeast infections. they are also hard to treat...OTC creams and diflucan prescriptions wont fully clear them. ortho tri cyclen is also ruining my sex life! i...
