I have not found this medicine very satisfying and infact with the high-risks attached to it, with all its drawbacks, such as the persistent coughing, weight loss, headaches, joint & muscle pain, I am truly concerned as to what the devil is the "up- side" to this supposed RA disigner drug after all is said & done. I started Piracetam on a Friday. I felt like I slept better and during waking hours, I didn't stress as much about things. I was very "mellow". I started getting a sore throat like a cold on Saturday. Then on Sunday afternoon, I felt a little feverish. By Sunday night, I had moderate fever and vomiting. I was in bed with fever for 24 hours. It greatly relieved the itching I would get from my skin rubbing on certain surfaces or materials that would use it. However, I try not to "overuse" it on one spot as I feel it changes the color of the skin.
