Since I have been taking Synthyroid 0.25mcg, I have started spotting between periods. It did not start until I start taking the medication. I do have more energy and I feel my muscles being sore like my metabolism is increasing but the spotting is bothering me. Is anybody else spotting while taking this medicine for the first time, and if yes, how long does the spotting last, or does it stay forever or go away after my body gets used to the medication. I am only taking Adalat because I am still nursing my daughter - as soon as she is weaned, I am going back to Micardis. Adalat is awful for me. My legs and feet turn bright red and feel really warm, plus I have a sense of dizziness, and it is hard for me to function normally. I would not recommend this drug, unless you have no other choice.
