I've been taking Agomelatine for around 4 months now (50mg per day) in a UK based clinical trial. I had taken paroxetine for 12 months immediately prior to this so feel I can make a good comparison between the two. Firstly with Agomelatine i've not noticed any side effects whatsoever, its almost as if you arent taking medication at all, although in saying that it's not been very effective in reducing my depression and anxiety either, although it does help me sleep easier. I had one son already and now I'm working and planning to get married so I don't want another child yet. I take Ortho Tri-Cyclen and it prevents me from getting pregnant and unexpected periods. I recommend it but it does give me mood swings!

I've been on Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo for 7 years. For the past two years I noticed a change where I would have break through bleedings a week before my period. I Switched to YAZ and HATED it. So I am back on Orthro because my body is used to it and my only problem is the break through bleeding. I am trying to find a better Birth Control.

Started taking Topamax on vacation to gradually get up to full dose. Went very slowly--got to full dosage at about 4 weeks. I lost weight, but tried to stick with it because the migraines were so bad, but it only reduced them a little bit. At around the 4-5 week mark I was sitting in my living room feeling semi-suicidal and decided I should read the fine print on the side effects. I've ha abnormally (i.e. heart attack level blood pressure, ate only 38, and the beginnings of agoraphobia) I'm a little sleepy, but can finally remember what it is to feel normal. I'm finally not afraid to talk to people. don't laugh, but I went to the store today, and it was ok, nobody was staring at me, or pointing at me. Heck ,I'm proud, bought everything for a full real meal. I did pretty well.
