i take it 2 twice in day one in the morning & 1 at evening. It is effective sometimes not all the time. It also removes my headache sometimes. Also use paracetemol aswell to help with the pain.

So far so good for about a month, & with no heart palpitations--but I am only taking one a day in the morning & with FOOD, such as cottage cheese. I feel a lot better because everything is not hurting all the time......its doing an amazing job & I have taken no "NSAID's" (Advil, Aleve, Naprosen, Ibuprophen, or Aspirin) or Tums, Mylanta, pepto bismol for over a month. At 67, I say, hurray!

I took one Zylfamend PM (only half the recommended dosage). I felt better the next day in terms of noticeably less body aches and less fatigue. I knew beforehand that ginger and turmeric are very "heating" herbs and will throw my ying/yang off balance. As expected, I had dry mouth for two nights (need to keep waking up to drink water or suck a lozenge in my mouth all night), and pimples popped out. My mother, age 85, was taking Prednisone for pulmonary fibrosis and it caused congestive heart failure and she died about 3 wks after she started taking it. It also had a host of other unpleasant side effects, but death trumped those. It made her irritable, prone to emotional outbursts, skin breaking open and oozing, and more. Gordon Caldwell Fund

I have struggled with frequent bouts of insomnia since high schools. I've tried almost every prescription sleep aid on the market with less than positive results. They often left me feeling exhausted, had vivid, violent dreams, and overslept numerous times. Melatonin has been a life-saver. I take the 5 mg pill a half hour before bed and I sleep pretty well; almost the whole night through.
