It's great for dealing with congestion/hay fever, but I stopped taking Drixoral after a short period of time because for me the dry mouth and thirst outweighed the benefits. I found myself drinking much more than usual because of my dry mouth, and consequently having to visit the bathroom much more frequently than usual. I was quite distressed that I had to come off Celebrex. I experienced an ulcer and upper GI bleeding. Previously, I was taking Tylenol and Ibuprofen for arthritis but the Ibuprofen was hideous and I also experienced an ulcer. Celebrex was the last NSAID in the arsenal for treatment of my arthritis. My knees and back are far worse and I have limited mobility and a higher level of pain now.

I have awful menstrual cramps, and so, generally, when I can relieve that, I can think clearer and my emotions are more intact (hence my answer for the emotional side-effects above).

Hi, I was diagnozed with Acute Leukemia (AML) stage 2A before my daughter brought this herbs for me last year (2009). I have tried 36 antidepressants during my lifetime and only two worked well for me - lofepramine (you cant get it in the US) and Wellbutrin.. I felt really really tired and lethargic on most other drugs, and some gave me some really nasty side effects - seizures from venlafaxine, suicidal tendencies with prozac, tics, anxiety or severe tiredness with others
