I have been using Depo-Provera for about 5 years, and the experience for me has had pros and cons. While growing up I had very painful periods, and one year when I went in for an annual checkup the doctor had discovered a cyst on my ovary. This is the worst medicine I've ever taken. I was in more pain than before after taking the medicine, and maybe got 3 hours sleep and an entire day of not being able to move due to intense abdominal pain. I decided to stop taking the medicine after 3 days.

I don't know what I would have done if I hadn't been prescribed Ibuprofen following a surgery. It did a lot of good, but I still felt and looked horrible at the time.

Taken 20mg for post traumatic head injury. At first great-headache gone but got very groggy in the morning, had real sugar cravings, heart rhythm problems and just not feeling quite on the earth. So have cut to 10mg for 3 days and stopped altogether today. Yeah I know you are not meant to stop but I think this drug is not that good for me,now the headaches are much better. Here's hoping anyway!!
