This is the best working drug I have ever taken for any condition. I went from waking up at all hours of the night chewing rolaids and tums continuously, having reflux so bad I almost choked to death several times, to my stomach feeling like I am 10 years old again. I only need to take one nexium on occasions, whenever I eat something that would normally kill my stomach. One pill's effects keep the heartburn and reflux away for 3 or 4 days! It was very helpful in stopping the inflammation of my hives. I had to take it for almost a week but it was effective as soon as I was finished with the prescription. My hives were completely gone by the end of the week. The only problem I had with Prednisone was the after taste. It made me dread taking the medicine.

I recommend Topamax to anyone who suffers from chronic migraines. The only two side effects I do not enjoy is the loss of taste with soda and slight confusion at times. It's never to noticeable, but at times it does seem I get a little air headed. I rarely suffer from migraines and when I do get one it's never as strong as they were.

I do like that it allows me to sleep better, but, it takes me longer to fall asleep. Since starting Inderal, I have had a lot of heart burn issues. It has helped some with my migraines.
