I developed a thyroid problem , I was taken chantix for 6 weeks. I totally blame the drug. I had blood work every 6 months with no issue. Now I have to take a thyroid med every day. Women need to get blood work before taking this medication. I still smoke and going back to the patch. Many more lawsuits will happen with drug.

Worked great as an addition to another SSRI when I was having trouble with early morning wakefulness. Actually took care of that problem very quickly and I was very pleased with the outcome. This remained in a steady-state for about 6 months and then I noticed that I was feeling excessively tired during the day and had severe trouble focusing and concentrating. This medication along with Prometrium has changed my life. I was a balling maniac. If some one asked how are you doing I would burst into tears. I was having hot flashes that where making me feel like all of a sudden I was thrown into a 500% pizza oven. Now life is good. No more out burst of tear, swollen eyes, of feeling like some one was useing my eye balls for an ice skating rink. THANKS A LOT

My 15 year old son has ADHD. He has been on numerous stimulants over the years as well as Strattera. The stimulants caused decreased weight and appetitie and increased frustration.
