I have been using Depo-Provera for about 5 years, and the experience for me has had pros and cons. While growing up I had very painful periods, and one year when I went in for an annual checkup the doctor had discovered a cyst on my ovary. I think it is a great medication that really helped me quit after almost 30 years smoking. But the first step to be successful is to really want to quit and then Chantix will help with the effects of withdrawal. In my case the side effects were not strong enough to take me out of the path to reach my goal. It is worth it to try.

This medication was given to me for strep throat, I guess it got rid of my infection but it tasted bad everytime I swallowed this pill, and I started getting slight diarrhea while I was on this medication. Besides, the diarrhea and the horrible taste to the pill there are no more complaints, but I sure didint like this medication too much due to the horrible taste and diarrhea.
