I have been taking quasense for over a year and love it!!!! I skip the placebo pills every 3 months and go straight to the reg pills so I do spot a little every few months, but its better than bleeding for days and having all the other symptoms that go along with a crappy period.... My only complaint is that even the generic is expensive! Walmart has sprintec (generic ortho-tricyclen) for $9 and I pay over $100 for quasense every 3 months. Otherwise no negative side effects that I am aware of... View full comment

I had perfect fasting blood sugar levels prior to taking Lipitor and now regularly have fastings of 283 or higher (even when my blood sugar level at night is perfect prior to going to bed). I had a salad for supper tonight and took the normal amount of insulin I took prior to taking Lipitor and later had a blood sugar level over 400. Worst drug I've ever been on. Doctor won't change it and I'm always sick as a dog. I wouldn't recommend this drug to my worst enemy. No one should have to feel like this all the time. I'd rather just deal with the diabetes than have to be nauseated all the time.
