I have been taking Synthriod 50 mcg Tablets for a year and a half. So far it has help me to get some energy back and helped with my muscle and joint pain. I have not had any bad side effect form this medicine.

they have given me shackey hands,have caused hair loss and after over 20years of taking them they keep me awake and i only take them as the side effects of stopping this drug causes panick attacks and is horrendous,my doctor has now said they have to go But i have to do this in two weeks! But she will then replace them with an up to date drug!

Once I started on the Lexapro my suicidal thoughts and feelings of hopelessness were no longer an issue. I loved being able to sleep at nights again. I have had great results with hardly any side effects. The cost is very expensive so I tried other meds hoping to get the same results but other meds were not as successful; prozac did nothing for me...still weepy and depressed. I started out taking Lexapro but the dr. switched me to Celexa because my insurance covered it but didnt cover the lexapro. They told me that it was very similar to lexapro but it made me very sick when I took it and I had no problems with the lexapro. I had to go off of it after a week of taking it because I didnt have any energy to do anything and constantly felt sick. I went back on the lexapro and have been doing great since!
