I have been taking syntroid for over 1 year to suppress remaining part of thyroid after surgery(pappillary carcinoma). I have: fever, fatigue, nervousiness, high temperature, high blood pressure, tremor, anxiety..... My endocrinologist ignores my symptoms saying that I have to stay on syntroid. Doctor perscribed it for Strep. Literally almost had to crawl to the doctors office because I had gotten so sick and run down. He gave me Levaquin and by the second day of taking it I felt 100% better and was almost back to normal! Just a little residual coucghing the next few days- but definitely it knocked it out and FAST!
