Lolav, I find that for sleep the alternative therapies work better and with less side effects then the pharmaceutical approach. I suggest you check with a health food store to see what they recommend. Valerian is good and so is just plain old hot milk before bed. There are stronger Ayurvedic or Chinese herbs that you can Google- some are common and some you have to go to India for. Developed anxiety/depression. Cry over silly things which is also effecting my personal life and my relationship with my boyfriend. I've become extra on edge and easily annoyed. Went from having an occasional pimple before my period to getting more than one throughout the day. Also not sleeping through the night.

It worked better than Cymbalta, but does not come close to the efficacy of Effexor XR. I was hoping for mood improvement like Effexor XR used to provide, but all I experienced was a mild improvement over the Cymbalta. Disappointed overall with its performance and ready to try something else.

Hydrocodone (dihydrocodeineone) bitartrate must be the most overpriced mild opioid on the market - now, since the withdrawal of the antitussive DICODID in 2008 (hydrocodone has NEVER been approved as an analgesic in any country except the USA) it is confined to the USA, which, according to WHO, consumed 100% of the world supply in 2014. I have awful menstrual cramps, and so, generally, when I can relieve that, I can think clearer and my emotions are more intact (hence my answer for the emotional side-effects above).
