I have endometriosis and we tried several different birth control pills before my doctor recommended the Mirena device to me. It was very expensive (of course my insurance doesnt cover the device) and it was very painful when she put it in. I had irregular bleeding for the three months that I had it in me and I experienced some of the most painful cramps I had ever had in my life. I could only stand three months of it and I had to have her remove it. It was a waste of 800.00 for me.

I was 17 when I had my 3 Gardasil shots and 17 when I was diagnosed with RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS following the shots. It took a year for doctors to realize I had RA because I was a competitive athlete (they thought my joints were swollen because I have always been an athlete). I now take a shot of Enbrel once a week so I can walk. I am 19 years old and have had to change my entire life style all because of a stupid shot I was forced to get. Girls NEED to start making the connection between RA... View full comment

I'd been on Zocor for about 2 months when the painful attacks in my arms started. I went through every test known to man, heart cath, MRI, MRA, EMG, endoscopy, various blood work. All came back negative and my pain was attributed to cervical spondylosis. I was given Neurontin, then Celebrex and Tramadol by my neurologist to deal with the pain. I was never bothered by any arthritic pain before going on Zocor. I kept researching the problem and recently consulted with a rheumatologist who sugge... View full comment
