This medication has many adverse physical side effects for me. The worst being weight gain and irritability. My sleep pattern is also disturbed and I have very high prolactin levels.

Initially, Wellbutrin XL definitely helped me to get through my husband's one-year navy deployment, with me having to work part-time, continue working on my Master's degree, and care for my 7 and 9 year olds alone. That was 4 1/2 years ago and I am still on Wellbutrin XL. At this time, I would say my mild depression and anxiety, plus mood swings and lack of patience, are creeping back. This drug was supposed to raise my Hdl, I took it only 3 or 4 times as it really caused my blood sugar to spike. If you are diabetic I would not recommend this
