I am very happy with Lamictal as I have been able to come off of another mood stabiliser (which was causing unwanted side effects) .. it is much more effective for my condition ( Bi polar disorder) .. this medication does not affect my libido like other medication either... the only problem is that it is not a government subsidized medication as it is not recognised as a medication needed for bi polar disorder and so is very expensive... Esipram (Lexapro) saved my life. I had suffered major chronic disorder for 18 years and no other anti-depressants helped. Some (Prozac) made it worse. I was taking tranquilizers every night and seeing a psychiatrist at least weekly. The anxiety attacks were horrendous and nothing helped. I still cannot believe the difference Esipram made. My anxiety has simply vanished. Virtually no side effects. I was able to stop all tranquilizers and I now see the shrink every 6 months instead of weekly.... View full comment

I find the lorazepam relaxes me when I feel that life is out of my control and restores my respespective regarding the situatuion that caused me the stress. It helps me sleep when things will not leave my head alone but goes around and around in my head.

I am taking Moringa to help with calcium uptake as I cannot take dairy products (lactose intolerance) or elemental calcium due to family history of cardiac disease and arterial sclerosis. I have found that even taking one pill per day has increased my alertness, decreased joint pain and decreased stress. What I do not like is the nausea I experience.
