Strong raspberry leaf infusions are the ONLY thing that has ever relieved my menstrual cramps and accompanying symptoms, such as nausea and diarrhea. Pharmaceuticals have never helped my cramps. I also use raspberry leaves and berries infused in apple cider vinegar during my menstrual cycle as the vinegar extracts a great deal of nutrients in the leaves (calcium, magnesium etc) that help with cramps and pms, as well as the high iron in the berries. Having been on Lymecycline for almost 10 years now I am only now seeing a connection with memory loss around words: I often remember only the first letter of the word I want (like having a stroke!), or remember it 24 hours later or else the wrong word comes out. I have been worried about greater memory loss the longer I am on these things and only found out by experimenting by coming off them for a week - boy did my conversations flow then - no stumbling over words!
