I started taking Chantix two weeks ago, the first week was fine, while I was smoking, when I quit smoking on the second week I thought that I might have an immunity to the meds because I was climbing the walls... like you do when you are having a nicotine fit, by the end of the second week I developed a skin rash with lesions varying in size from a pin point to a dime size. I have taken lithium Carbonate in different variations since 1979 for the treatment of bipolar. Each time I chose to go off it for any reason I had problems and resumed. This has by far been my saving grace to allow me to live a normal life. Any benefits far outweigh the side effects.

Pain controlled.....lowered prescription, because I had trouble sleeping. I was taking 4-6 100mg a day for pain after extensive dental work. Lowered to 2 100mg after 3 days for a total of 8 days.

Since I started taking Yaz, I am more emotional and feel depressed. I use to be a very happy go lucky person...I dont even recognise myself anymore. My friends dont recognise me anymore. I am not going to take my tablet tomorrow as I think it is the Yaz causing it. I will schedule an appointment with the doctor as soon as I can. I cry for no apparent reason and feel angry about the silliest things.
