Allegra made my heart race, so I asked my doctor to be switched to something with fewer side effects. I then I took Xyzal for about 7 months, while it did reduce my allergies the side effects were devastating. I gained weight. I was tired all the time. My heart rate went up. My joint's ached. My doctor started checking me for thyroid conditions, I had an EKG that showed nothing. I now suspect it was the Xyzal. I did not expect to bleed for 2weeks and 4days. The cramps were intense, and lasted for 2days. The intial bleeding was horrific, i never expected to bleed so heavily in such a short period of time. You definitely need to be prepared. The inital nausea wasn't that bad.
