Although not strictly a benzodiazepine etizolam shares similar pharmacological properties. My professional opinion is that one should treat it with similar caution, i.e. avoid constant long-term use, use the minimum dose that provides a satisfactory response, either relief from a panic attack, disabling anxiety or the onset of sleep and NEVER exceed the maximum daily dose, 2mg/Day, that appears in the product literature. It's a quick fix but the powder is just HORRIBLE/BITTER. Maybe you could introduce flavors to soften the BITTER taste of it.

It's interesting...It definitely makes me feel MUCH better. I initially caved into "drugs" after dealing with horrible panic attacks for two years. I tried to stay away from reading reviews because I knew I wouldn't take it then. I have to tell you, I have definitely gained weight, and whether it's from this drug or personal eating habits, I don't know. At first, the medication caused nausea, so the doctors reduced the prescribed dosage for me and since the dosage was decreased, nausea also decreased and went away. Prominent side effects included constipation and weakness and there were multiple other mild side effects that went away as the dosage was decreased more.

I started taking Xopenex after taking proair when they moved away from using aerosole inhalers. It works better than proair but not as effective as the old albuterol.
