I have pretty bad anxiety/OCD and Pristiq doesn't really help me with that. Maybe a little, but not much. I don't feel depressed taking it. Noticed my hair is falling out a little faster since I started taking Pristiq, but I'm a guy in his late 20's and it was already an issue, just not to the extent it is now. I have been taking zoloft for 4 months and started off with 25mg then increased to 50mg and now I am on 100mg. I can definately feel a difference with anxiety and feel more outgoing. I took another medication which made me have hallucinations for 5 days. I then had to seek a phychiarist who put me on the zoloft. I took this medicine to help with an infection with my IUD, my doctor warned me it would cause sensitivity to the sun, but I didn't except it to be this bad. It only take 5 minutes in the sun or shade and I am burnt and my nose has been burnt since I started taking the medicine. It did clear up the infection as far as I know, but I don't think I would take this medicine again.

Paxil did nothing but make my life worse. I even got divorced from a 45 year old relationship. It took me a painful 6 months to finaly break free of the withdrawl simptoms on the 3rd attempt.
