I have been taking 2 mg xanax for over ten years. I stop taking it every once in a while after reading negative effects . It helps me with my constipation. I do have a hard time when trying to get off of it. I experience nausea, and become quite ill for about 4 days. I do not know if I should stay on it or not . I would like to know if there is any long term effects on being on it for an extended length of time.

NEVER AGAIN will I take this crap. I can't believe it made it on the market. I remember my first few doses where I was lying in bed frozen since the slightest movement made the whole room spin. My eyes felt like they were being spun out of my head and my body trembled from the inside. The side effects were really bad for 3 hours after taking my dose. NEVER NEVER never never ever use this product!!! I am not prone to yeast infections. But I had to take an antiobotic for a sinus infection and presto! within 5 days I had a very mild case yeast infection. Nothing major, but I new it was an infection. I bought Monistat 1 and inserted the egg with ease at around 10pm. Ok, everything seemed fine...until around 1am. I woke up and it felt like my vagina and vulva were on FIRE!!! I started out taking Lexapro but the dr. switched me to Celexa because my insurance covered it but didnt cover the lexapro. They told me that it was very similar to lexapro but it made me very sick when I took it and I had no problems with the lexapro. I had to go off of it after a week of taking it because I didnt have any energy to do anything and constantly felt sick. I went back on the lexapro and have been doing great since!
