My allergies improved however the drug would make me drowsy sometimes mild sometimes strong. the drug also affected my sleep, i would have nightmares.difficulty sleeping i dont sleep that much anymore.i stopped it for a while but my lack of sleep continued, i'm not satisfied with the drug but it is the drug that helps. Works very well for my panic disorder. I can take it in the middle of the day if anxious, avoid a panic attack, and continue on with my day. I've been taking Xanax for about 10 years now and it's still as eefective as it was when I started taking it. I can go days without taking any if I have little or no anxiety. As it wears off I do notice I get a little grumpy, that part doesn't feel real good. Overall it helps my quality of life greatly.

I have been taking zoloft for 4 months and started off with 25mg then increased to 50mg and now I am on 100mg. I can definately feel a difference with anxiety and feel more outgoing. I took another medication which made me have hallucinations for 5 days. I then had to seek a phychiarist who put me on the zoloft. I am having problems with swelling, rash, dizziness and left hip pain. I can't walk for more than 5-10 minutes before it feels like something is trying to rip my hip joint apart.. This pain didn't start until I had been on Benicar for about a week. ( I had tried another BP med and had swelling in both legs to the point of not being able to walk)

I think that lexapro is great for anxiety, they only two downfalls is it takes a while to build up in your system and begin to work and it costs a lot of money even if your insurance covers a portion of it.
