I started on 5 grams two weeks ago and I could tell it was working. However, late in the day I could feel it wearing off. When I would take the 5 grams in the morning it helped with my libido and firmness but by the next morning it would wear off. My doctor increased the dose to 10 grams a day and I just started that. I have uterine fibroids and am experiencing very long periods. I tried red raspberry and it has shortened the duration to almost normal/no flow. But I am experiencing headaches and elevated blood pressure that started since I have been taking the red raspberry.

This medication has many adverse physical side effects for me. The worst being weight gain and irritability. My sleep pattern is also disturbed and I have very high prolactin levels.

I switched from Tri-Sprintec to Reclipsen because I was having breakthrough bleeding and was annoyed with it and wow, I wish I wouldn't have switched. Reclipsen gave me the worst bloating of my life. My stomach was actually in pain - so bloated in the last week of pills that I would have trouble wearing my normal-sized pants.
