I was prescribed Skelaxin after I was involved in a motor vehicle accident. It takes a good hour to 2 hours to really start working. I still felt some moderate back pain when taking the drug, but overall it helped me get around and do simple movements.

I told my daughter not to take the shots, it was too new and was unfortable with it and recommended she not have it. When she went for physical the doctor recommened she have it. She said she didn't want it, but it felt like it was being forced a bit, so she took it. She didn't feel well for a couple of weeks afterwards. I went to the doctor tor congestion and he gave me this steroid for the first time. I took the first 6-4mg of a 6 day plan and stopped after the first dose because at first I was wired so high, I couldn't sleep or stop talking! Developed Parkinson's after 4 yrs of Lipitor therapy for "primary prevention". No fly Hx of neurodegenerative ds; no fly hx of cardiovascular ds. Just mildly elevated TC.
