I switched to Vivelle Dot after being on Premarin for 18 years. I am disappointed that my side effects of weight gain and breast tenderness are bad enough to make me want to stop using it. I feel it is safer than Premarin but I cannot live with the side effects.

I am older, in my forties, and when I found out a friend my age got the vaccine, I decided to consider it. I have two friends with HPV and they have suffered a lot with treatments and such over the past few years. I wanted to avoid this for myself. Although i was perscribed Solpadol as a pain relief and still require it for that purpose, as an ex smoker of Marijuana i obtain the same relaxed effect with Solpadol and believe i have replaced one with the other. When my Dr will not perscribe solpadol i replace it with normal Co Codamol and Ibuprofen until i can obtain my next perscription. I DO NOT recommend tri-sprinted. I changed from Loestrin 1/20 to tri-sprintec this summer (July09) and have had recurrent yeast infections ever since then. I have also gained tons of weight since starting to take this pill. I am changing pills today.
