Horrible birth control. Increased appetite, increased weight loss, fatigue, mood swings. Had to get my gall bladder taken out. I don't recommend this Birth control at all!

After 2 years it seemed like the Plaquenil was no longer working. My Rheumatologist switched me to Azathioprine but I had an allergic reaction to it. I am now back on Plaquenil and it seems to be working again along with Prednisone.

Was on Ortho tri Cyclen Lo before my pharmacy and insurance company switched me to this generic brand. I experienced a serious decrease in sex drive, which continues to this day. Besides that, the price is much better, and my menstraul cycles are scheduled to the day and time. I did not notice any significant weight gain or loss from this pill. It's worth trying, but if your libido changes as mine did, seek medical attention as soon as possible.

Since taking carbimazole have stopped taking my rosuvastin cholesterol pill as getting really bade effects of having muscle pain in arm and terrible hot patches on the front of my legs and have got cream from the doctor which has calmed down a bit. Would like to know if anyone has experienced very bad swelling on eye lids and bags under eyes especially if I have a glass of red wine as I have Graves eye disease. It works, but not great. I have to take twice the recommended dosage (which I probably shouldn't) just to get some effect. I do still take it most mornings, though, because I have year-round allergies and sinus problems and usually wake up with a lot of congestion. On the plus side, a couple of tablets in the morning will usually decongest me enough to get me through the day. It does occasionally make me thirsty and tired.
