I was prescribed prednisone for two months to help with colitis. I developed Avascular Necrosis of the hips within 12 months due to this drug. I needed to have my hips replaced at age 31. They said it is a rare side effect, but it isn't rare enough.

I received the gardasil shot about a year ago and now I have been diagnosed with high risk HPV. I am due to go see a gyno. next week and I am scared....I was never diagnosed with HPV only now a year later after getting the shot. Also, I have read that if you were already exposed to HPV prior to receiving the gardasil shot it increases chances of cervical cancer...why wouldn't my doctor tell me this?

I've taken aspirin for as long as I can remember and I've never had problems with it. It worked well on my constant headaches and pain in my muscles when I have it. I would recommend aspirin to anyone.

I just had a back surgery last week to remove hardware that I had put in 3 years ago when I had a fusion done of my lower back and this is they gave me oxycodone for the pain. I irritated a nerve while healing and it felt like I had electric shock pulses in my back constantly. The oxycodone didnt begin to even touch the pain I was having so they prescribed me the norco 10mg to replace the oxycodone for the pain. Yaz seems to be popular due to advertisement and not because of the quality of life the pill provides. I've heard different reactions from different women, I seem to be the only one who experiences worsened periods and severe weigh gain. I gained 37 pounds within a year.

negative side effects outweigh any positive benefits. blurred vision is debilitating as are the constant migraines and stomach gas which comes out in the form of constant burping and bloating.
