Before taking zoloft, I had such a bad mental clarity, I kept forgetting words, I couldnt concentrate or focus and I felt as though my mind was always foggy. THIS DRUG SHOULD NOT BE ON THE MARKET!!! It causes PERMANENT sexual dysfunction, swelling, fatigue, depression and sleep problems. Contrary to what Merck claims: these side-effects are NOT temporary. There should be a full investigation into how this drug got approved. It has completely destroyed my life! In 2003, I attempted to commit suicide as a direct result of the drug's after-effects. Other people are telling similar stories on the internet.

I suffered from general anxiety disorder, mild OCD, and occasional depression and went on Lexapro when I was 18. After about 2 weeks I started noticing improvement and after about 6 weeks I noticed the full effects. My anxiety caused me to have a lot of problems going to sleep and after starting lexapro those issues went away and I was able to sleep much better.
