Since taking these tablets I have had headaches everyday which often turn into a migrain. Not sure why but my periods have also stopped (no I am not preganat). I always have had regular periods until taking these tablets. I also take a high dosage of thyroxine.

I too am hyperthyroid. I was prescribed carbimazole and had an allergic reaction with a skin rash which erupted within days. I then was prescribed PTU, propylithouacil which I initially took at a very high dosage, namely 12 tablets/day and after several weeks lost my taste completely and had bad headaches. My consultant reduced the dosage to two/day after 2 months as I had gone underactive. I gradually regained my taste but then developed pains in my arms so bad I couldn't sleep on my sides... I was given the marcaine prior to having injections in my back. It did a really good job at numbing the area that they were injecting so I felt the least amount of pain possible.

I thought the Zyglamend was working really well for my inflammation from rheumatoid arthritis, and I was still taking only 1 tablet per day, working my way up to 2 per day. But the diarrhea and heache was there everyday. Then the headache was so bad I could barely move, so I took my blood pressure and found it had shot up dangerously high (179/112). What I love about Zoloft is that it doesn't change my personalty. I take it for both depression and anxiety. It keeps me relaxed and has improved my sleep. Overall I feel very god emotionally.
